Medicine data
Profiles, medicines, schedules, dose history, supply records, and scanning data are processed and stored on your device. Medicine photos and OCR results are not sent to RevenueCat or used for advertising. Scanning models are downloaded separately; model hosting receives the network information needed to deliver those downloads.
Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts, subscription status, an anonymous app user identifier, and technical information needed to validate purchases and restore access. PillLabel does not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat and the platform store retain purchase information under their own policies and legal requirements.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally. Notification previews may show medicine details on your lock screen. You control notification permissions and previews in system settings. Delivery depends on operating-system settings and device conditions.
Your control
You can export medication records, restore an archive, or delete local data in Your data. Exports are not encrypted by PillLabel. Anyone with an exported archive may read it, so choose a trusted place to keep it. Sharing or saving an archive outside PillLabel is your choice. Uninstalling the app or losing your device may remove local records. Restoring a purchase does not restore medicine data.
Retention and support
Local medicine records remain until you delete them or remove app data. Deleting local data does not cancel a store subscription or erase legally retained purchase records. For purchase-data requests or privacy questions, contact mjashem007@gmail.com. Send only information needed for support; avoid sending medicine photos or records unless you intend to share them.
Changes
Future cloud backup, sharing, or analytics integrations would require updated disclosures before activation. This release does not include cloud medicine sync or remote caregiver access. If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a revised date.
