Capture a printed label or prescription, or type the information yourself. Check each field against your source before saving a medicine or reminder.
Review the draft
Check medicine name, strength, instructions, schedule, and reminder choices against your source. Edit missing or incorrect fields. Scanning never activates a routine for you.
Save your routine
Save only after you are satisfied. Today then shows doses and actions, with history and supply information nearby. Reminder delivery depends on device settings.
What happens when you open the app?
First launch introduces the label, prescription, and reminder journey. The app then presents its store-managed plans. A verified trial, subscription, or lifetime purchase unlocks new scans and new medicine or routine creation. No PillLabel account is required for the local records already on your device.
Scanning setup
Scanning runs on your device after an initial model download. The app checks storage and device memory before using a model. One-label scanning requires at least 4 GiB reported RAM; printed-prescription scanning requires at least 6 GiB. Device and scan-quality checks still apply. If scanning is unavailable, Enter manually remains available.
Printed prescription review is designed for supported Latin-script material. Handwriting is not a supported claim. Every extracted value must be checked before saving.
Daily use
Today helps you record Taken, Skip, or Snooze actions. PillLabel preserves dose history when a routine changes. You can manage scheduled, interval, as-needed, and off routines, view your medicine list, and track supply and manual refills. Local profiles let people organize records on the same device; they do not provide remote household sharing.
Important medicine safety
PillLabel helps with entry, reminders, and logging. It does not diagnose, prescribe, check interactions, recommend a dose, or replace a clinician or pharmacist. Always check the source label and professional instructions.
Your data and recovery
Medicine records live on your device. Under Your data, you can export an archive, import an archive to replace local records, or delete local data. PillLabel archives are not app-encrypted; keep exported files somewhere you trust. A purchase restore restores paid access with the same platform store account, not medicine records. Apple and Google purchases do not transfer between platforms in this release.
